How To Write A Blog And Keep It Going
When you have learned how to set up a blog, you need to learn the tricks on how to write a blog and keep it going. But I have learned over the years of blogging; you need to love and believe in what you are writing. I love to share information, and I know how time-poor many people are, so I keep my articles short, fun to read and often lead my readers to further knowledge, like books, etc. that they can learn more if they like.
Cazinc Blog is about sharing lifestyle ideas. Often the articles are about things I enjoy, or questions people ask me and want to know more about. But if you are considering to start writing a blog and keep it going, then I would advise you to enjoy the process. Blogging is like ordering a meal, order what you want to eat, not what you have to eat. With blogging, write about what you want to share. Think from your heart and not your head. What is your heart telling you to write?
I do have writer's block, and often. When this happens, I close the blog and do something else. I only blog when I feel inspired, and the words flow freely onto the page.
If you are striving for perfection, then don't blog. Strive to inspire rather than being perfect. But please ensure you have backing for everything you write about - if you are stating a point, then back your point up with a link to a website or a book, anything to provide proof to back up your fact.
I find it is essential to find some quiet time to contemplate whatever it is you are intending to cover when creating your blog post. Do some brainstorming with yourself. Advance thought is generally helpful. When I have some 'mental' free time, like when I am at pilates or in the shower, I think about ideas to blog about. These ideas are often items I have just learnt about and want to share, or something I want to find out about, so I learn more and share on the blog.
When I write, I detach myself from internet diversions. I have to research while writing, so it is impossible to remove myself from the internet entirely. The idea is to disconnect from all distractions, especially all social media. Switch off all social media and emails so you can focus on the blog post, which leads to time when blogging, I always allow myself 20 - 30-minute blocks to blog, again without any distractions to allow the writing to flow. Blogging is like study, so if you can do it in chunks, you will be quicker with posts.
So it is time to get your creative juices to flow and work their magic. Once you are in a flow, you can easily create a blog post rapidly, but again, the most important thing is how promptly you can get the writing underway when you're inspired.
I hope this introduction of how to write a blog and keep it going is practical for you in some ways because I have connected with some beautiful people via blogging, learnt a lot about life and enjoyed sharing articles that make life easier for all.
