How To Make Quick And Healthy Dinner Bowls?
Dinner in our home dinner often has to be quick and easy – and what we are loving is building a simple bowl of healthy food.
My favourite café, St Rose, has opened up a fabulous new shop in Rose Street, Essendon called “Bowls Baby” where you can order one of their delicious pre-made healthy bowls or build one of your own. If you can’t get to Bowls Baby, (but I thoroughly recommend you do, they feed me at least 8 – 10 times per week) then you can use their ideas to build your own bowl at home.
Use Bowls Baby’s concept to build your own quick and easy bowl food at home:
Bases + 1 Protein + Toppings of Your Choice
Free Range Chicken
Grass Fed Beef
Or if you are vegetarian or vegan, add extra spinach, kale, broccoli or corn (all high in protein).
Free range egg
Lemon Rind Dressing
Miso Sesame Vinaigrette
It’s as easy as that, and I guarantee you and your health will love what you build in your bowl.
