An Interview Between Two Inspirational Women.
As most of you know, Meryl played Anna, the American Vogue Magazine Editor, in one of my favourite movies "The Devil Wears Prada." Anna interviews Meryl in the video below because she was a good friend of, and admits to being intimidated by, Katherine Graham (which for someone like Anna, this is a strong statement). Love her or hate her, Anna is one woman I admire for her ability to make decisions and to create and run the world's most powerful fashion magazine, amongst many other successes in the field of fashion.
Anna does have a funny wit in her own way, as you will see in the video when she asks Meryl who her favourite character is and then said "Let's not go there Meryl," when Meryl indicated it was Anna.
The women had a frank and far-ranging conversation, filled with humour and insight. Topics included the Pentagon Papers, the Mueller investigation, sexual harassment, female empowerment, and what Meryl and her daughters talk about around the dining room table.
A five minute interview many women will applaud.
