It’s A Wrap – What A Year
Wow, what another fabulous year this has been for our Cazinc community and me. By working together, we have not only ensured many more children are warm from our knitting community for the Children’s Hospital, World Vision and Nepal Project, but we have also helped many other charities, including Footy’s 4 All, St Kilda Mums, Hayden’s Helping Hands and The Pencil Community. We have made people aware of the mental health issues of others with the support of Man Anchor, especially with their strong message of checking in with friends, asking how they are and Kerry Atherton from Stories Of Hope.
Our community has grown over the past two years of Cazinc Blog, and so have many of our readers.
We have also had strong support from companies, such as Henkerman Hangers, who sponsor our label, as well as Axton Finance, Real Asset Property Group and Telleish Hair Studio. We have met incredible people, like gorgeous Kerryn Vaughan from “Girls With Hammers,” and our inspirational “Sonya and Sacha,” who are setting the world on fire with their books, podcasts and radio show. And our blog wouldn’t be the same without our special entertainment guest writer and my gorgeous girlfriend, Tracey, beautiful Margo Field from Go See Margo and the fabulous Margaret Hiatt.
Every week our emails are filled with remarkable changes to your lives because you have taken the time to read our articles. I love hearing how you enjoy your touch of daily inspiration from your five-minute read of the blog. It inspires me to work harder to find inspirational people (I meet many through my amazing friend Michael Gallus) and topics you will enjoy.
I want to thank our brilliant editor and my friend, Karlana Santamaria, who cares so much about the blog and stretches me beyond my limits. Karlana is also a gifted children’s author (writing under Karlana Kasarik) and an extremely kind and caring person. And thank you to my brother Clinton Waters who doesn’t only write brilliant articles, he texts me often with brilliant article ideas.
What I am also excited about is your response to Cazinc The Label, which launches in February. Styling clients for over 15 years, I know the problems women faced daily with having nothing to wear in their wardrobes, even though they were packed to the brim. When these women knew what styles worked for them, they felt fabulous about themselves, which improved their self-worth and love. Their lives and careers also improved with their newfound self-esteem. I can’t wait to share this knowledge with you through Cazinc The Label in 2019 and help women of all shapes and sizes look and feel their best every day with our cruelty-free, vegan and sustainable clothing range.
A huge thank you to our Cazinc The Label team, gorgeous Zoe, Emma and Rosie. You girls are the best.
And thank you to the team at St Rose and Bowls Baby who provide us with healthy food and coffee to keep us going.
Thank you to our readers for another year of love, support and friendship. I feel blessed every day writing the blog articles and the beautiful friends I have met along the journey, with how many people read and share the articles on social media. At the start, I was thrilled when we had 50 readers, which has now grown to over 500 per day.
Thank you to my wonderful mum who likes and shares my posts on Facebook each day. Mum is blown away at how many topics we cover on the blog.
But Cazinc would be possible without the love and support of my beautiful husband Simon, (who thinks he is the brunt of all my jokes on the blog.) Simon, you inspire and support me daily and I couldn’t do any of this without you. I love you babe.
Cheers to a brilliant 2019 and our team sends everyone love and happiness, today and every day.
Love to all,
Here are more highlights of 2018 and more of what is to follow in 2019.
