Most of us aim to have it together in various aspects of our lives. If you are like me, I dress well and do well at work, but at home I am always late but my husband is always on time. But hey, we can't all be perfect, although in our minds we all want to be that person; the one that seems to be able to bring all the elements together immaculately. Would it surprise you to know that the “it” people are no different to us, but they have a few tools in their belts and know how to use them.
Here are seven simple implementations to help make you feel like the put-together person.
Create a plan for every day, as well as weekly programs. Check your list at the beginning of the day so that you can plan your day to be the most productive possible.
Create routines that serve you by starting with a method for the things you often do. Create habits to streamline your daily processes to cut down on wasted time, which allows for more productivity.
Respond to emails and messages ASAP. Reaching out to make connections shows you have a genuine interest in the person and entices people to want to work with you, which can be crucial for growing your networks and future opportunities.
Develop your signature style. How you want to be perceived is how you should dress. By developing your signature style, you will only purchase items that suit this style, saving you time and money by not purchasing unwanted items. Invest in you to invest in your life and become that together person.
The people who have it together are well groomed. They don't have bushy eyebrows, or hair hanging out of their noses and ears. They don't have chipped nail polish or wear the wrong makeup colours, and they don't over accessorise, especially with jewellery. Believe In You
Visualisation is critical in this department. Even if your life doesn't feel successful, dress and act like it is. Fake it until you make it! We need to crawl before we walk, so the more you act like the person who has it together, the quicker you will feel like this person. The fake will become a habit, which eventually leads to the truth.
