A Movie That Will Have You Singing And Dancing In The Aisles.

A Movie That Will Have You Singing And Dancing In The Aisles.

Did you know Freddie Mercury's name was Farrokh Bulsaro?

That Freddie was a baggage handler at London’s Heathrow airport?

That he only offered his services as fill in for a band that had just lost their lead singer?

And it was his four-octave voice range, matched with his flamboyant stage persona, that won him the gig to what was to become one of the world’s most successful bands, Queen.

Four things you may have not known about Queen, and there is plenty more to learn with the feel-good, successful musical Bohemian Rhapsody, staring Rami Malek, who gives a career-defining performance as Freddie Mercury.

The musical focuses on the band that made up Queen; Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor and their unbelievable fast-tracked fame. Even though critics knocked the group for their eccentric styles, Queen attracted record audience numbers. Freddie’s personal life pays the price as it becomes increasingly public and the movie reflects this price of fame.

The movie also co-stars Lucy Boyton, Tom Hollander, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Massello, and we see the return of one of my much-loved actors, Mike Myers.

Here is the trailer for you to enjoy, a movie not to be missed and it will rock you. Showing at your local arthouse or contemporary cinema now.
