5 Ways To Wear Denim This Summer

5 Ways To Wear Denim This Summer

Denim is here to stay again for summer 2018, and as we see on the streets, everyone loves denim! There is so much more to denim than just pairing a simple pair of jeans; denim comes in many ways, shapes and forms.

So, are you ready to find out the hottest ways to style your denim?

1. Jeans

Ok, jeans have to be the hottest ways to wear denim, but which style do you choose?  We have many styles for you to choose from here.

Straight leg jeans are hot again this season, but what is the difference to last year? Straight leg jeans were all about paler, vintage washes the previous year, but this year we also see darker washes hitting the streets, which we love because dark wash jeans are more versatile and more accessible to wear to work or out on the town.

2.    Overalls

Overalls are another trend that used to be popular back in the day. Now, they are back and all the rage.  Pair them with a t-shirt or maybe something cropped for a fabulous casual and comfortable style.

3.    Skirts

Like jeans, denim skirts are almost a must for all wardrobes as they go with nearly everything. Long live the denim skirt! High-waisted denim skirts look fabulous with a tee and sneakers and are an effortless and trendy outfit.  Stores all over are coming out with various sorts of denim skirts; you won’t want to stop at one.

4.    A Vintage Touch

Add a vintage touch to your outfit with vintage jeans which are now back in full force and more relaxed than ever. You probably always thought about how comfortable those jeans would be but never dared to wear them because they were so old school. Well, now is the perfect opportunity to try them out.

5.    Switching Up The Hem

The hems of your jeans can no longer be dull and boring. Go for something that has a bit more fun and edge to it.  From frayed to cut-off and uneven hems, everything has been trending.  Even though this detailing might not be too big, it surely adds so much to your whole outfit and instantly makes your jeans a standout.  Plus, it’s a great way to show off your fabulous shoes!

6.    Denim On Denim

An oversized denim jacket or denim shirt looks fantastic with a pair of high-waisted jeans, probably something that is distressed to achieve that off-duty model look.  You need to try this trend out; it looks super chic and has a very alluring vibe to it.

As a bonus, Mum jeans are still in. Rip a hole or two in the knees for some ventilation and you have another brilliant denim style for SS18.

And if you want to show off your pins, denim shorts will always be a winner in summer. They go with everything and are great for daywear.
