Plus-Size Model Takes On Victoria Secret
For years, we have seen super skinny models on the runways of fashion. Victoria secret has announced their 2017 Fashion Line-up. We noticed not one of their models was a plus size. All models were the typical long-legged, super skinny girls who I would love to invite home for a bowl of my home-made pasta.
How do you feel about this in 2017? Who are they trying to sell lingerie too?
Women today have become curvier. We have stopped bullying ourselves into trying to be skinny; we are now healthy. It was refreshing to see the gorgeous plus-size model, Brooklyn, New York-based, Tabria Majors take on Victoria Secret on her Instagram and Twitter pages.
The idea that Victoria Secret largely showcases thinner models doesn’t sit right with her, so Tabria has recreated some of their famous advertisements.
Speaking with Huffington Post Canada, Tabria said, “Maybe I’ll be a Victoria’s Secret Angel this year for Halloween since it ain’t happening in real life lol.”
"I just want to know why they, and so many other companies, don't cater to the average-sized woman."
We would like to know this too. Would you? We would love to know your thoughts on this topic.

Ashley Graham is another gorgeous plus size model we love.
